Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp firmly packed dark brown sugar
3 drops vanilla extract
small pinch kosher salt
1 egg yolk
Scant 1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 Tbsp chocolate chips
Melt butter in the microwave in your microwave proof coffee cup/mug. Add sugars, vanilla and salt. Stir to combine. Seperate egg and add the yolk only to the cup, stir to combine. Add flour and stir again. Add the chocolate chips and give a final stir.
Cook in the microwave for 40-60 seconds, start checking at 40 seconds. When it looks like a cookie it is done. My microwave took 40 seconds, 10, 20 and 10 seconds until done.
