14 ounces uncooked pasta
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monteray Jack cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
3 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup crumbled saltines
Cook pasta drain, rinse and set aside.
In medium sauce pan melt butter and saute minced garlic over medium heat. Whisk in flour to make roux. Add milk and continue to stir until thickened. Finally, Add the grated cheese until melted; turn off heat.
Combine pasta with cheese sauce;add salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to casserole pan and top with crumbs. Sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter. Bake at 350 covered.
If needed broil for 2-3 mins uncovered to brown for desired results.
