Sautéd Morels Sauce

You do not want to overpower the wonderful taste of morels. This simple recipe is a great way to make a wonderful sauce for a steak, chicken or pasta.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 4


1/2 pound of Fresh Morels
3 cloves of fresh garlic
1/2 cup butter


Wash the morels and trim off any old parts. Starting at the tip of the morel slice sideways in 1/4 inch slices and include the stem. In a sauce pan melt the butter on medium heat and add the garlic. Then add the slices of morels and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. When done place the sauce on top of your steak, chicken or toss in fresh pasta.
