Lettuce or lettuces of choice (iceberg is the least nutrient dense), some canned beans drained and rinsed (garbanzos are one of our favorites), boiled egg (we eat the yolks!), MUFAS (such as avacado, black olives and any other ingredients you like
Make your own dressing so you have control over the ingredients. Use a Good Seasons packaged dressing mix and just add water, olive oil, and flavored vinegar (we cut the amount of oil by half and replace it with more water)
Tear the lettuce up, chop the egg and avacado and add to the lettuce along with the other ingredients of your choice. Drissle with some dressing.
Accompany with a good multi-grained cracker.
