Greek Tazaki Sauce With Pita Chips

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


Large container of Plain yogurt OR Greek yogurt

1/2 cup Dry mint (You can also use fresh, chopped)

12 oz Feta cheese

2 cucumbers, chopped

Juice of half a lemon (more or less to taste)

Shredded Garlic ****** Optional***** I don't use it - but some love it


Pita chips:

Fresh pita bread (cut into triangles)
Olive oil


Tazaki Sauce:

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for at least two hours. Over night is better to let the flavors meld.

Pita chips:

Cut pita bread into triangles. Coat on each side with olive oil. Place on a foil lined cookie sheet and bake in an oven at 350 degrees until crispy.

Also good on gyros.
