Jam Crescants

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
pinch salt
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup margarine
2 tablespoons cream
egg white, slightly beaten
confectioner's sugar


cut the cream cheese and margarine into the flour sugar and salt. Add the sour cream and blend well. Chill for at least 15-20 minutes. Roll as thin as possible and cut with small round cutter. Fill with jam, brush edges with egg whites, fold in half and seal. Bake 15-20 minutes at 325 degree F. While still warm, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
