Nana's Fruit Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

3 egg yolks
1 c sugar
1 Tbs hot water
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 egg whites
1 1/2 c brown sugar
peaches, pineapple, or apples

Method

Oven at 350.

Beat together egg yolks, sugar, and water until light. Add in flour and baking powder.

Beat egg whites until stiff.

Fold egg whites into mixture.

Generously butter butter cake pan. Cover bottom with brown sugar and fruit.

Pour batter over fruit.

Bake one hour.
