Nana's Butterscotch Pie

Ingredients

1 c brown sugar
butter size of walnut
1/4 c water
1 pint milk
2 egg yolks
1 Tbs flour
flavoring

Method

Boil together sugar, butter, and water until waxy then add the eggs, flavor, and milk.

Cook until mixture thickens.

Add flavor.

Pour into cooked pie shell. Cover with beaten egg whites and brown.
