Nana's Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1 Tbs flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
2 c cooked pumpkin
1 can (14 oz) condensed milk

Pecan topping
2 Tbs butter
1/4 c brown sugar
1 Tbs grated orange rind
3/4 c pecans


Combine eggs, sugar, flour, spices, and salt. Blend in pumpkin. Gradually add milk. mix well.

Pour into a 9" pie shell.

Bake at 450 for 10 minutes
Reduce heat to 350 and bake 40-50 minutes

Mix together butter, brown sugar, orange rind, and pecans. Crumble over pie during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
