Nana's Possum Stroganoff

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 lb possum
1/4 c fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c finely chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c sour cream
1/4 c water
cooked noodles


Mix the possum, bread crumbs, onion, egg, and seasonings. Shape into 16 balls. In a skillet, brown the possum balls. Pour off the fat.

Stir in soup, sour cream, and water.

Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring now and then.

Serve over noodles.
