Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

3 c powdered sugar
1 stick butter (room temperature)
1 1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg 12 oz chocolate chips
1 tsp paraffin

Mix together powder sugar, butter, peanut butter, and vanilla. The dough for the peanut butter balls will be stiff, therefore it may be necessary to mix and knead the dough by hand in order to assure thorough mixing of ingredients.

Form the dough into small balls and place on a well-buttered cookie sheet.

Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in a double boiler over hot water, stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted to a smooth consistency. If chocolate appears to thick for dipping, add 1 tsp cooking oil. Stir until well mixed.

To dip peanut butter balls you may use a toothpick or tongs. Dip balls into chocolate covering completely and place on cookie sheet. Set in refrigerator to set chocolate.
