Nana's Hamburger Salami

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


2 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef
2 1/2 heaping teaspoons Morton tender quick salt
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 1/2 tsp black pepper
3/4 tsp garlic salt
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dill seed (optional)


Mix all together well.

Divide into three parts and put each portion into double freezer bags. Close bags tight and refrigerate for 3 days. Each day squeeze to mix the contents completely.

On the fourth day form into rolls and place on a broiler pan. Bake at 160 degrees for 8 hours
