Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
3 cups sugar
1 7-oz. jar marshmallow creme
1 12-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup MILNOT
3/4 stick margarine
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix sugar, MILNOT and margarine together and cook until mixture comes to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil this mixture for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from fire and stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow creme. Stir ingredients until mixture is creamy and smooth. (An electric mixer may be used.) Pour into buttered 9x9 pan. Allow to cool and cut as desired. Yields approximately 2 1/2 lbs.
NOTE: For delightful change use butterscotch or caramel chips instead of chocolate chips.
