BRAISED KALE WITH SESAME SEEDS - GLUTEN FREE

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1/4 cup onion, chopped - or yellow capsicum as I am not an onion fan
1 bunch of kale
squeeze of lemon juice
1/2 cup vegetable stock or broth
1 Tablespoon of gluten-free Tamari Sauce
1-2 Tablespoons sesame seeds

Method

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until almost translucent. Add the garlic and cook for about a minute more. Stir in the kale and the vegetable broth. Cover and cook until the kale is tender – about 10 minutes. Squeeze with lemon juice. Stir in the sesame seeds.
