Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
1/2 c sliced celery
2 Tbs chopped onion
2 Tbs butter
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of shrimp soup
1/2 c milk
1 can (6 oz) shrimp, drained
1 can (6 oz) lobster, drained
1/2 c cooked peas
dash Angostura bitters
1 c mashed potatoes
2 Tbs shredded cheddar cheese
Cook together celery and onion in the butter until tender.
Blend in the soup, milk, shrimp, lobster, peas, bitters, and thyme. Heat slowly until warmed through. Stir often.
Pour mixture into 1.5 Qt casserole dish. Arrange potatoes around the edge of the casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 450 for 15 minutes or until potatoes are browned.
