Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
2 + ½ cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups whole milk
1 cup caster sugar
1 cup Bourbon
½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs together until theyâ€™re frothy.
Add sugar and continue beating.
Sprinkle in nutmeg and vanilla.
A little at a time, add in the whipping cream, continuing to beat.
Again, only a little at a time, beat in the milk.
Finally, beat in the bourbon.
Chill for 1 â€“ 2 hours.
Serve cold and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
