Sang Choy Bow

Ingredients

1tbs vegetable oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
680g pork mince
1 & 1/2tbs soy sauce
1 & 1/2tbs oyster sauce
pinch of five spice powder
250g fried noodles
250g bean sprouts
2 birdseye chillies, finely sliced (optional)
1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
4 spring onions, sliced on a sharp angle
12 iceberg lettuce leaves, washed, to serve

Method

1. Heat a wok over high heat & add the vegetable oil. Add onion & garlic and saute for 1-2mins. Add mince & cook until golden brown.

2. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce & a pinch of five spice powder. Cook for 3-4mins, then remove from heat. Toss through the noodles, sprouts, chilli, coriander & spring onions.

3. Spoon mixture into lettuce cups!
