Sour Cream Cheesecake

1 3/4 c graham cracker crumbs, fine
1/4 c walnuts, chopped finely
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 c butter, melted
2 pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
3 eggs
3 c sour cream


Preheat oven to 375.

Combine crumbs, nuts, and cinnamon. Add melted butter, stirring until well combined. Reserve 1/4 c of crumb mixture for topping. Press remainder of crumb mixture onto the bottom and 2 1/2" up the sides of an 8" springform pan.

In a lg mixer bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, almond, extract just until smooth. Do not overbeat.

Add eggs, mixing at low speed just until combined.

Stir in sour cream.

Spread cheese mixture into prepared crust.

Sprinkle reserved crumbs over the top.

Bake at 375 for 50-55 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Chill 4-5 hours before serving. Store uneaten portions in refrigerator.
