1/2 carrot, diced
50g french beans, sliced into 1cm lengths
1pc onion, finely chopped
1pc red bell pepper
1/2 cup button mushroom
150g chicken breast, cut into 1cm cubes
30g plain flour
100ml fresh milk
100ml vegetable/chicken broth
salt and pepper to season
1. Bring carrot and french beans to boil and cook for 6 - 8 mins. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook pasta, set aside.
3. Heat half of the butter, add onions and cook till softened. Add chicken, bell pepper and mushroom. Remove from pan.
4. Add remaining of butter to the pan and stir in flour, then add milk and broth. Bring to a boil, stirring until sauce is thick and smooth.
5. Add pre-cooked chicken and vegetables, season to tast with salt and pepper.
6. Toss with pasta.
