Ingredients

Ingredient A
60g butter
60g shortening
60g icing sugar
1 egg yolk

Ingredient B
180g flour, sifted
1tsp baking powder
1/4tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/4tsp salt

Ingredient C (beaten for glazing)
1 egg
pinch of salt

Method

1. Beat A till well combined. Mix in B to form a soft dough.
2. Shape into small balls. Arrange on greased baking tray apart to prevent sticking.
3. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180 degrees for 13 mins till lightly brown.
4. Remove.
