Hot-sweet shrimp & crabcakes

Two tricks: hotsauce & honey prepare the shrimp, and cornflakes give body. Fair Warning: my friends' "vegetarian" definition allows seafood, & I say eggs aren't dairy, so that's how I filled in the checkboxes!

Ingredients

1lb crab
1lb shrimp
1T butter
1T olive oil
1T honey
1T HOT salsa (I use habanero-mango)
1 handful scallions, chopped large
1/2 pint water chestnuts, chopped fine.
1/2t crushed red pepper, eg chile pequin
pepper
2 eggs,
1T Mayo
1C corn flakes

Method

peel & sautee shrimp & scallions in olive oil, adding salsa & honey at the end.
Dice the shrimp, crush the flakes, mix everything.
Form small haystacks & bake 300 1/2 hour.
