2 cups masa harina flour
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup vegetable broth or water
corn husks, banana leaves or something to line steamer basket
Combine all ingredients (except corn husks). Knead into a smooth dough, adding more broth or water if necessary.
Line steamer basket with corn husks or banana leaves.
Press dough evenly into basket.
Fill pot with water and cover with steamer baskets.
Bring to a boil, lower heat, and steam for about 30-45 minutes.
