Barbecued Hot Dogs

Ingredients

3/4 cup chopped onion
1-1/2 cups chopped celery
1-1/2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon prepared mustard
20 reduced-fat hot dogs
20 hot dog buns, split

Method

In a saucepan coated with nonstick cooking spray, saute onions over medium heat until tender. Add celery, ketchup, water, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, worcestershire sauce and mustard; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Cut three 1/4-inch deep slits on each side of hot dogs; place in a 2-1/2 quart baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the sauce over the hot dogs. Cover and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until heated through. Serve on buns.
