Sunset Gourmet Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

1 lb bacon, diced and cooked
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tsp OH! SO GARLIC
2 tsp OH! SO ONION
2 heads blanched cabbage leaves

SAUCE:
1 large onion, diced
2 Tbsp oil
½ tsp salt
Dash pepper
¼ tsp paprika
½ cup water
2 tins tomato soup
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp soya sauce

Method

Saute onion in oil, add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. You can
also add tomato juice to sauce, if you prefer.
Cook rice until tender and well done, add remaining ingredients. Place a rounded spoonful of the mixture on a blanched cabbage leaf; roll tightly closing ends. Place in a roasting pan, cover with sauce and bake covered for 2½ - 3 hours. Pierce with a fork to check for doneness.
