Cinnamon Pita Chip

A subtle pita chip perfect for dessert dipping

Preparation time: 20-30 min + rest time

6 T Hot Water + 1 T Honey (or use Agave Nectar if Vegan) + 1 heaping t Yeast - stirred & rested
1 1/2 C Flour (I used 1 C Whole Wheat & 1/2 C All Purpose)
3 T Cinnamon
Shake of Salt
1 T Olive Oil
1/2 C + 3 T Water


Start by prepping your yeast by mixing the hot water, honey & yeast & let rise.

Mix the flour, cinnamon & salt. Add the rest of the ingredients (including the yeast) & stir/kneed for about 10 minutes. Form a ball and spray with oil and let rest until doubled in size (30+ minutes)

Preheat oven & baking stone to 400 degrees. Pull off & form small grape-sized ball of dough. Flatten the balls into small THIN discs (I just smashed them between my palms). Once the oven/stone is hot bake the discs in batches for 6 minutes. Pull out and let cool.
