Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
1 lb strip loin, trimmed
Extra virgin olive oil
¼ lb French* or Greek Feta* crumbled
Italian baguette bread, hoagie type size, split ¾ open
½ of a bell pepper sliced/chopped
½ of white onion sliced/chopped.
3 pinches of oregano
1.Slice the meat very thinly and get the griddle nice and hot before placing the meat on the grill.
2.Brush steak slices with the olive oil. Season with salt, pepper and 2-3 pinches of dry oregano.
3.Place the onions and sliced pepper peppers on top of the meat and turn a couple of times.
4.Squeeze some more olive oil on top of the meat mixture.
5.When the meat is done place everything on a lightly oiled piece of bread.
6.Crumble the Feta over the meat mixture, and close the bread slices over the meat.
7.Sprinkle some of Nabeel's® GLORIAâ„¢ Classic Greek Dressing* on top of the meat and cheese.
