3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar (can be reduced to 3/4 cup)
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup of flour
Set oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix butter and mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the sugar, egg and vanilla.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
Add and mix in the flour.
Pour the mixture into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour, then cool on a rack.
Optional: You may add anything to your liking such as chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, kahlua,blueberries or espresso.
