1.5 lbs Chicken thighs, legs or breasts
3 Cloves garlic
4 Black peppercorns
2 Cloves, whole
½ tsp Cumin, ground
½ cup Chicken broth or water
1 jar Molli Veracruz Cooking Sauce
2 tbsp Oil
â€¢ Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper. Set aside.
â€¢ In a blender, puree the garlic, peppercorns, cloves, cumin and onion with the broth and set aside.
â€¢ Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the puree, stir and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add the Veracruz Cooking Sauce, bring to a boil, and lower heat to simmer and cook for 5 more minutes.
â€¢ Add the chicken, cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. You can also use a slow cooker, and cook it for 4 hours on low. Enjoy!
