Sauteed mushrooms in two-chile sauce (Hongos salteados a los dos chiles)

¼ White onion, thinly sliced
3 tsp Mölli Acapulco Cooking Paste
8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
1 ½ tbsp. Canola oil
1/3 cup Water
1 tbsp Lime juice
Salt to taste


• Heat oil in a medium pan, add the onion and cook for 2 minutes without browning. Add the mushrooms and cook over medium heat, stirring from time to time, for 8 minutes.
• Put the water in a cup and add the Acapulco paste, and mix until fully dissolved.
• Add the paste mixture to the mushrooms in the pan. Stir well, add salt and continue cooking and scraping the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking. Add the lime juice and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve and enjoy!
