Banana Bread

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups flour

4 medium bananas

1/2 c walnuts (optional)


Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs followed by dry ingredients. Mix in bananas one at a time. Mix thoroughly. Bake in greased loaf pan or round cans at 350 for 30+ minutes.
