Ingredients

Ingredients

2 4.0 oz cans mild, chopped Hatch green chiles
2 8.0 oz packages cream cheese
1 24.0 oz package frozen golden corn
1 12.0 oz package frozen white or shoe peg corn
Fry salt to taste (see recipe below)

Fry Salt (combine in advance – store in sealed container)

2 parts table salt
1 part ground black pepper
1 part garlic salt

Method

Mix cream cheese, corn and chiles in crock pot. Allow 2-4 hours cook time. To shorten cook time, thaw corn in microwave first. Set crock pot to "high" setting, stirring occasionally. Once hot, reduce heat and add fry salt to taste. 2 tablespoons is a good guideline for this amount of corn.
