Texas Crabgrass

Great appetizer for parties or quick snack.

1/3 c butter, melted
1 large onion, diced
1 (7 1/2 oz.) can crab meat, drained
3/4 c. parmesan
1 (10 oz.) pkg frozen spinach
1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 minced garlic clove (if desired)
crackers or melba toast


Sautee onion in butter. Add crab, cheese, garlic, and spinach. Heat through on stove. Serve hot with crackers.
Yield: 2 1/2 cups
