granola bars

Ingredients

4 c regular oats
3/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c dried cranberries
1/2 c coconut
1/2 c honey
1 c chopped nuts (we use almonds)
3/4 melted butter
2 eggs
2 tlb ground flax seed (optional)
white or chocolate chips optional

Method

preheat oven to 350*
combine all ingredients in large bowl. mix well.line a 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish with parchment paper or grease dish well. Firmly press mixture in dish and bake for 30 or till golden brown. let cool completely and cut into bars.
