NORWEGIAN MEAT BALLS

Ingredients

2 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup diced onions
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup crushed cracker crumbs
3/4 cup milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsps sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
3 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk mixed with 1/2 cup sour cream

Method

Saute onion in margarine. Combine beef, crumbs, milk, egg, sugar and spices. Roll into ping pong ball size meat balls and brown in onions. (use a spoon to rolls them around so they don't brown on one side) Remove from pan. Add flour, pepper, salt to the drippings and gradually add the milk combined with the sour cream.

Serve with rice or noodles.
