Spiced Pecans

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 cup sugar
1 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 cup water
3 cups pecans


Combine first six ingredients in saucepan. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until dissolves. Then cook to soft ball. Remove from heat. Add pecans, stirring until well coated. Spread pecans on waxed paper and separate nuts with fork.
