3 mild Italian sausage links, decased and cooked
½ small onion, chopped
3 tsp garlic, minced
2 15-oz cans tomato sauce
1 4.5-oz can mushrooms, undrained
a pinch to â…› tsp of dried red pepper flakes
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp each of salt and pepper
½ tsp dried parsley flakes
Decase the Italian sausage and cook in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain the fat and place the Italian sausage in the crockpot.
Add the remaining ingredients into the crockpot, stir.
Cook on high for 3 hours.
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Serve sauce over pasta.
