12 fl oz skimmed milk
4 fl oz water
4 oz quinoa
4 oz live plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon agave syrup
1 green pear
pinch ground ginger
pinch ground cinnamon
2 oz flaked almonds
1. Place milk, water and quinoa in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes until soft and allow to cool.
2. Place cooked quinoa in a bowl and mix with yoghurt and agave nectar. Coarsely grate the apple and pear into the bowl, including any juice.
3. Mix well, add spices to taste and adjust consistency with more milk.
4. Place into small serving bowls and sprinkle with the flaked almonds.
