Ingredients

BOTTOM LAYER
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup medium medium coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

SECOND LAYER
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vanilla pudding powder
2 cups confectioner's sugar

ICING
4 squares (1 ounce each) semisweet chocolate baking squares
1 tablespoon butter

Method

BOTTOM LAYER
Combine first six ingredients in large saucepan. Heat and stir until miresembles custard. Remove from heat. Add graham cracker crumbs, coconut and walnuts. Stir and pack very firmly in ungreased 9 x 9 inch pan. Chill.

SECOND LAYER
Beat all 4 ingredients together in medium bowl until smooth. Spread over first level. Chill.

ICING
Melt chocolate and butter in medium saucepan on low, stirring often. Spread over second layer. Chill. Bring to room temperature before cutting to avoid cracking hard top layer. A hot dry knife helps.
