Creamed Collard Greens

Ingredients

4 slices Thick-cut Bacon, Coarsely chopped
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
1 cup Chicken broth
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
16 ounces fresh-cut collard greens
1 jar (16 ounces) cheesy toasted garlic Parmesan sauce

Method

Preheat medium stock pan on medium-high 2 to 3 minutes. Cut bacon into small pieces and place in pan. Cook and stir 8 to 10 minutes or until crispy. Remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons dripping in pan. Add onions to drippings. Cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients (excpt cheese sauce). Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cook 20 minutes, still occassionally. Stir in bacon and cheese sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, 1 to 2 minutes until hot.
