Rum Balls

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 chocolate cake mix
2 tablespoons Cocoa, sifted
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup apricot jam
1 tablespoon boiling water
2 tablespoons dark rum
1/2 - 2/4 cup chocolate sprinkles


Preheat and bake cake mix according to package directions. Cool. partially freeze. Crumble in large bowl. Add cocoa and brown sugar. Mix. In small cup, combine jam, boiling water and rum. Add to cake mixture. Stir well. Shape into balls. Roll each ball in sprinkles. Chill.
