Spicy Appetizer Dip

1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple in own juice.
1 cup chicken broth
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
3 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
ΒΌ teaspoon crushed red pepper


Drain pineapple, reserving juice. In small saucepan, blend reserved juice, broth, sorn starch, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Sir in pineapple. Serve hot or cold.
