Ham- Wrapped Oysters

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
¼ pound ham, cut unto 3x1-1/4-inch strips
2 dozen fresh oysters, shucked
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon garlic powder


Spread horseradish on 1 side of each ham strip. Pla ce 1 oyster on each ham strip. Roll up and secure with wooden pick. Arrange on broiler pan. Combine butter, lemon juice and garlic powder in small cup. Brush each ham roll with some of the lemon-butter sauce. Broil, 5 inches from heat, 10 – 15 minutes or until edges of oysters curl, brushing occasionally with lemon-butter sauce.
