Baked Stuffed Shrimp

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 pound jumbo raw shrimp. Peeled leaving tails on
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon chicken-flavored bouillon
¼ cup butter
1 ½ cups soft bread crumbs
1 tablespoon chopped pimiento
Melted butter
Chopped parsley


Preheat oven to 4000 F. In large skillet, cook mushrooms, onion, garlic and bouillon in margarine until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in crumbs and pimento. Cut a slit through underside of each shrimp, do not cut through. Remove vein. Brush each shrimp with butter. Mound stuffing mixure in hollow of each shrimp. Place in greased shallow baking dish. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until hot. Garnish with parsley.
