Aunt Helen's Cucumber Pickle

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 1/2 c water
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp onion flakes
3/4 tsp celery seed
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
4 cucumbers, sliced leaving the skin on but removing the ends


Put everything but the cucumbers in a jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake until the sugar is dissolved. Put in the cucumbers.

Put the lid on the jar and put the jar in the refrigerator.

Good and ready the next day.
