Aunt Helen's Sourdough Flapjacks

1 yeast cake
1 c water
1/4 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
6 Tbs sugar
2 eggs


Stir together yeast and water. Stir in enough flour to make it a little thicker than waffle batter. Cover and place in a warm place over night.

The next morning add the soda, salt, sugar, and eggs. Keep about 3 Tbs for starter for the next day. Can be repeated day after day.

Grease skillet lightly.
