Swedish Cole Slaw

1 large head cabbage, shredded
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
2/3 cup salad oil


Combine cabbage, green pepper, onion, mustard seed and celery seed in a large bowl and set aside. Place remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to boil. While hot,pour over cabbage mixture. Do not stir until cold. Cover and put in refrigerator.
