Lemon Blueberry Bread

1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp, salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. fresh blueberries
For Glaze:

2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. sugar


Lightly grease 8" X 4" loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, beat together sugar, butter, juice and eggs. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add to egg mixture alternately with milk. Fold in lemon zest, nuts and berries. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake at 350 for 60 - 75 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool bread in pan 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine sugar and lemon juice. Remove bread from pan and drizzle glaze over bread. Cool on wire rack.
