Spicy Miso-Veg Soup

1T olive oil
about 2 cups shredded carrot and cabbage
2 celery sticks, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 datil or spicy pepper, minced
3 green onions, chopped
2 cups broth
salt and black pepper to taste
2-3 tspoons miso


In a pot, saute the carrots, cabbage, celery, mushrooms and datil pepper. When soft, add the broth cover and boil. Remove from heat and add miso then chopped green onion.
