Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
2-4 lb Pork loin or pork shoulder
1 onion, chopped
1/2 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce,
1 packet Asian seasoning (such as for lettuce wraps)
2-3 C water
Add the barbecue sauce, Asian seasoning, and 2 C of water to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Cut pork loin into large chunks. Add to cold slow cooker with the chopped onion. If needed, Add water to just cover the pork. Feel free to add more barbecue sauce at this point as well.
Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 2-3 hours until pork is cooked through. Remove from slow cooker and shred pork. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, or move the cooking liquid to the stove and reduce to your preferred pulled pork sauce consistency.
Serve with rolls, coleslaw or broccoli slaw. Enjoy!
