Easy Caramel rolls

Thick gooey caramel top these irresistible rolls. Kept secret for 30 years in a little cafe in Esmond North Dakota.

Preparation time: 15 min + raising
Cooking time: 25 min

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 12


1 package of Rhodes frozen cinnamon rolls
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup brown sugar


Grease a 9 by 13 glass pan. Place 9 frozen rolls equally. Let raise according to the directions on the package. Should fill the pan.

Mix the cream and sugar till uniform. Pour over the rolls evenly.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto cookie sheet lined with foil.

If you are skilled enough make your own dough use butter and brown sugar in the rolls rather than cinnamon. I prefer them this way but making bread from scratch takes time. I'd rather just thaw some rolls and be done.
